This must be some kind of weird cubicle humor I am not really getting.. ha ha!
You know the feeling. After weeks spent romancing code and caffeine,
sacrificing sleep and family, your program is finally complete. You find anyone
you can, and beg them to test and test and test. And then the dreaded feeling
sinks into your stomach; a bug has been found. You fly through code like a
Decepticon looking for trouble, ravenously searching for the missing punctuation
or the incorrect command. Something…anything. Don’t you wish there was an
easier way?
Now there is: The Computer Bug Zapper. Just hang this battery powered dynamo
over or near your computer, monitor, or desk, and turn it on. You can tell it’s
working by the flashing lights and the buzzing sounds of computer bugs meeting
their doom. Zzapp…zzapp. Computer bugs are history; extra crispy. And
if you believe that, have we got some vaporware to sell to you! Actually, the
Computer Bug Zapper does blink and buzz, but that’s all. Your job is to convince
everyone around you that it works. It’s not a fix for computer bugs, but it sure
can help your mood if you are flummoxed by them.
