Shoudl I be confused about this one?
As news about Brandon Flyte’s expulsion over his film project Brokeback
High spread across the internet at lightning speed, a larger problem
developed for the student. His
claims weren’t true.He did create the film Brokeback High, and did receive
high marks for it in his English class, and did show it to his marine
biology class with the "snuggle scene" in it. He was punished for that,
but not expelled.Read on here!
But still, why did he get punished? For what? He should be punished for lieing but not for making the movie.
Brokeback Mountain is a must see for everyone … it is not just about 2 gay cowboys. It is a story about how society can prevent you from being happy. It does not matter if you are gay, white, black, fat … just let people be.
I am for new society standards - holding up the bible (which is rewritten and sooo old) should be not a base on society these days. Please. Believe and religion is important - I agree. But religion should be not used to make other people feel bad. And religion has nothing to do with POLITICS! NOTHING! It just scares me what religion has done and will do (you just have to watch the news) It is insane!
Sorry I got a little personal …. but it just makes me angry sometimes thinking about this toppic.

I could not agree with you more. “religion should be not used to make other people feel bad. And religion has nothing to do with POLITICS! NOTHING! It just scares me what religion has done and will do (you just have to watch the news) It is insane!”
I hate what the Christian Right has done to politics here in America. I alternate between wanting to protest in Washington or to curl up in a ball and cry.

his claims were true tho. he was forced to leave school and if they call it an expulsion or not they still forced him to leave.

Sorry to disagree. Everything has something to do with politics, including religion. Religion is about how we fundamentally relate to God and each other, so you can’t divorce it from politics. For people of faith, it shapes their views and perceptions. As someone who is Christian, I don’t want to hurt other people, Gay, hindu, whatever. But when they begin trying to reshape society in their image by the things that shape them, and I believe those things are wrong, then I will challenge it. No belief exists in a vacuum.

Hello John,
thank you for your comment…
Tell me, why should it be not possible for Gays or Hindus to live in a society being totally accepted? Aren’t they human as well? Does it mean when you are gay your a not as much worth in society or as human.
If yes, that’s not very religous at all.
Society should always change but I have the feeling that in some coutries things are going backwards.
And yes, your are hurting feelings!
