This is the very first Mc Cafe I have seen .. which is at the new Berlin Main Train Station. You get regular Junk Food – but they also have a coffee shop area. Is Mc Donald’s trying to catch up with the Starbucks hype .. which is sooo 1998?
I am just happy they got rid of the red and yellow!

Any Mc Cafes on the US – I am curious.

Hey JP,
thank you for your comment – Nutella and Latta Machiatto sounds actually very tempting.
Where were you located in Germany?
here in the Philippines, we have McCafe as well. I think this is more than a year already. but I don’t think it will be much as hyped as starbucks.
We had a McCafe here in Mountain View, Ca. back in 2002. It’s since been converted back into a regular McDonalds.
There was lots of press when it opened so I checked it out. All Mc Donalds should look like that. Very nice. Free WiFi too.
We have at least one McCafe in Cary, NC. There might be another one in town somewhere, too.
there were McCafes all over the place in Australia while i was there; i think they’re strictly international, not a USA thing.
i liked them too, offered an alternative. their frozen drinks were delicious. i can’t remember the flavors.
There is a McCafé in the center of Cologne/Köln for more than two years now.

There is also a McCafe in York, England.

Its Amazing what australia gets first and last internationally

McCafe originally started back in 1993 in Australia. I work in a Mc Cafe in New Zealand, Mc Cafe started here in 1997. Almost every McDonalds here now has a Mc Cafe part. I like the cafe food and coffee we serve =D The food isnt as good as starbucks, the coffee maybe better =P The Mc Cafe i work in is one of the 3 busiest Mc Cafes in New Zealand, we have the same furnishing and stuff as in the pic.
Helo guys,
I m from Pakistan and here Mcdonalds is devoid of Mccafe. I was just wondering is it better to have joint Mcdonalds and Mccafe or separte should have been better. What things you like most? Is it comparable to Starbucks?

I just got back from living in Germany for over two years. One thing I miss is the McDonald’s espresso drinks they had at all of the McDonalds there. Their Latte Machiatto (sp?) was really fantastic. Stir in some Nutella, and you had yourself a killin good coffee drink.
