Well an other weekend an other hike. We are really living up to our Ireland motto "Work hard – Play Hard".

This hike was tough and took 6 straight hours of hiking. I  barely could walk when we got home. But it was awesome. This is an other route from the "Hill Walkers – Atlantic Ireland" Book. The author must be at least 75 or something years old – how is he doing it?

This hike was awesome I loved Lake Belshade it looks like it’s straight from Lord of the Rings. And that white Quartz pile on top of one of the mountains was just bizarre, it looked like snow. And that pool in the last image – I am going back their in the summer time to hang out in it and over looking that amazing landscape.

P.S. Chat update – I love the RGS Chat Room and I already had great conversations on there with my readers. That Gabbly has problem with new people joining the room – because they can not see when people are already in the room – to them it looks like the chat room is empty. Not true – so just drop a link, cuz I am in that Chat most of the time.

I’ve done that hike and it is muddy, really need really good boots unless its in the summer and it hasn’t rained in a few weeks. It is almost easier when it’s below freezing as the mud and bog is almost hard from the cold. But, it’s a great hike, and I think it’s worth it. I’m glad U enjoyed it! :)

Also, I started a Donegal group on Flick, feel free to join and add you pics from the hike:
