Guest Blog: What’s your city saying?

Filed in Photography 0 comments
My name is Axel Albin. i live in San Francisco, in a neighborhood called the mission. this summer, there was a lot of amazing streetart, and especially a lot of message graffiti. people started responding to the graffiti by making more graffiti, and i became obsessed with documenting the conversation.
I run a creativity and communications studio with a guy named Josh Kamler. We built the site to celebrate the conversations happening in graffiti all over the world. our studio site: www.languageincommon.com

Written in the City projeckt:

Someone is trying to tell you something. They don’t know you, and it doesn’t matter. They say it anyway, writing on the city itself, because the message is important.
…and so we’re listening.
WRITTEN ON THE CITY has images of message graffiti from all over the world. here’s are some samples: You just have to listen

You just have to ook closer
