Doctors belive this condition is caused by poor blood flow to the lower portions which in turn creates poor development of the lower limbs as well as internal organs. Chances are he only had one set of leg bones with a fused foot attached. Not to mention he had no kidneys and no bladder so saving him just wouldn't be possible.
