AMAZING LABYRINTH GOBLIN KNIGHT FULL SIZE COSTUME! From the classic David Bowie Jennifer Connolley Jim Henson movie!
This is an absolutely beautiful piece of work! Two years in the making, and now it’s up for sale here on eBay. This is a stunning lifesize wearable functional costume built to the highest quality. It is THE ONLY ONE ! We were lucky enough to work on Labyrinth which was made here at Elstree Film Studios in 1985-6. We were the resident studio engineers and made mechanical effects for over 120 films. This would be the ultimate costume to wear to the annual Labyrinth ball in the USA!
What makes this so special is that it works! I managed to get into the costume ok, and I’m 6 foot tall, 200 lbs (13 stone) with a 34inch waist. It was tight though, so if you are bigger forget it! The Goblins legs are false, your legs fit into the creatures legs (someone email what the tortoise looking beastie is called, I can’t remember!) and you hold his head with one hand just like in the movie. It’s actually easy to mobe around and it looks brilliant! We took it outside by the Lucas stage and within 5 minutes were surrounded by Big Brother and Dancing on Ice staff with cameras! It’s a bit like the guy who used to ride the ostrich around! Here’s the talented creator wearing the suit, forward offers of work to us
