There was no malfunction! This guy managed to do 2 of the dumbest moves in skydiving. First he pulls the main cutaway handle, then flies into power lines where there is nothing but plains as far as the eye can see.

If you look closely you can see the jump master toward his waist (where the ripcord is) but the guy goes for the red handle (cutaway). At this point you can see the jump master fighting his arm to prevent this. Then if you look even closer you will see the jump master pull his main ripcord so the canopy will be released and clear for the reserve to open. This jump master should get a mantle full of trophies but the first jump course teacher should go by by.

Hi everyone, I just registered on this forum this week.

Apologies for being lazy, but I was hoping you could show me any notable threads that I should check out first, so I can get up to speed here?

Thanks very much, Michael

My jaw just dropped when it showed him heading towards the power lines.
That was just simple crazy.

As its been debunked many times over the years, it was his own fault. No chute malfunction, the ass pulled on the Chute Release cord, for emegerncy purposes only. He didn't pay attention in class apparently and when the instructor put his hand over the handle, he just immediately assumed thats the handle he was supposed to pull to deploy his chute. Wrong!
