This is pretty disturbing! I've been travelling around Beijing quite often but never seen this. Where exactly was this? What hotel you remember? I wanna know if it's still there.

Thanks man.

I would like to say a few words on behalf of all fish and fish lovers. Fish do have feelings. They are able to communicate using vibrations as well as body language. This is not at all humane and while I do agree that these people need to stop being idiots, I am aware that even if complained about would not change their treatment towards the fish. Gold fish can live for an extremely long time and have very good memories. I have comets, bettas, and Koi and I have taught most of them at least 5 tricks with both verbal commands and hand signals. Swim through hoops, ring a bell for their dinner, come when called, Kisses, jump up to touch my finger and my Koi can play soccer and roll over to let me stroke his tummy. Most of my fish were trained using cues from a multi colored led flashlight and treat reenforcement Fish can feel pain, agony, lonely, depressed, angry, happy, and bored. The only thing I find efficient in this tank is it's shape, the upside down cone makes it easy for them to drain the dead fish. It's very sad that people come here hating on these unfortunate yet very intelligent animals. A big fishie bit your wittle leg and you got some infection while swimming in the ocean? It's the ocean you moron your lucky it was just a big fish and infection, and I highly doubt you had to amputate your leg. What did you do? Wait a few months after you were bitten to go to a doctor? Or did you simply get lost at sea while your flesh started to fester and decay? Stop pointing fingers at other countries people come on. If you will recall the last time you visited your local pet shop/store I'm sure you will remember the tanks of gold fish where more than half of them have scale rot or are dead and caught in the suction of the filter or strewn about the floor half eaten. There is animal abuse everywhere and unfortunately there isn't much you can do. Yes it would be wonderful to be able to save them all, is it possible? It depends if all humans are going to be smart, caring, loving.... No, I'm sorry it will never happen. Why? because anyone can buy an animal, but few people have the mental aptitude to be able to comprehend proper animal ownership. Some don't care, some love animals but don't do any research, and then there are the people who buy animals just to destroy them because they are sad pathetic people who feel better about themselves when picking on a lessor species. So in conclusion, Love your fish, with a bit of patience and a lot of care an attention you can teach them some really cool things. And on the other hand, all the haters and idiots can go get oil checked with a cactus slathered with turpentine. Thank you. Sorry Fishies..... RIP

That is the coolest thing ever!!! I even made up a name for it!!! I hereby call it a "think tank" Clever huh?!?! i loved it so much i got one for my own living room!I think it is just a way of life if the fish only live for 6 days. If you think that is cruel, maybe you need to put on your big boy pants and take a slice of reality.
