This little guy certainly has something to smile about – “Mariomokkori,” which is a bit of a play on words for mokkori – which means “mound” is a cute little guy in a school gym outfit. He has his name on the front (just like gym outfits) and on his back it reads “Hokkaido” – which is the northernmost region in Japan (very cold). When you pull his “mound” and release it, he quivers with happiness (he certaintly looks happy).

I love Japan.
