Neither CDs nor vinyl are magnetically active. It's just a scam. You might as well buy a neutron flow repolarizer, or a heisenberg compensator. Optical discs are read by lasers, which emit photons, which have no electrical charge and are therefore utterly unaffected by magnetic fields.
