my most unforgettable place in hkg is the ocean park. i was with my fiance' then for 5 days vacation in june 2008. we rode on different rides: roller coaster, mines ride, the abyss, etc. made my tummy felt so horrible with the twisting and turning, felt like my ovary is falling down, hehehe. it was truly amazing rides for first timer like me. it was fun despite of awful after experience for tummy. we will be coming back there soon this year to visit again my eldest sister and visit places we have never been to yet. Hongkong is very vibrant country, so much to see.

TsingTao beer is good, at least partly because it was first brewed by a German braumeister in the German section of Hong Kong.

From wikipedia: "The brewery was founded in 1903 as a German-British brewing company to produce German style beer in China, producing beer mainly for Germans and other Westerners in China."

I regretfully did not visit the Giant Buddah. I had a spare day before I left and decided to visit Hong Kong Disneyland instead, and I really regret it. That place was such a let down, and I only recommend it if you have a toddler that enjoys small kids rides. There were no big-ticket rides at all. The coolest thing about Disneyland was the train there that had mickey shaped windows. I will be back and the big Buddah and Macau are at the top of my list of places to explore.
