GPS enabled umbrella plus web browsing capabilities

Filed in Gadgets / Toys / Gift Ideas , Music / Movies / Videos 4 comments

Typically an umbrella has only one purpose: to keep you dry while everything else is wet. But no, those Japanese don’t agree and have created an umbrella with GPS, Internet connectivity, projector and Flickr synchronization. Sounds pretty complicated because it is. Here’s what it can do: take pictures, upload them on Flickr, browse web for other pictures, display current position on Google Maps and slideshow your pictures.

You’ll definitely look at least strange, but that’s a small price to pay when you’ll watch Joost on your umbrella :)
