meat sniffer

With this gadget you won’t be enjoying the sweet smell of rotten meat. How sad!

This small, food freshness tester ’sniffs’ the air above meat and poultry, detecting bacteria-produced gasses and determining meat freshness. Over 2,000 air samples are taken in less than a minute, and the results are color-coded for easy recognition. The green light indicates fresh food, yellow means the food is still ok – but eat fast! A red light indicates that the uncooked meat or poultry has spoiled.

Test food freshness in 3 steps: 1. Choose the meat or poultry setting. 2. Hold SensorfreshQ one half inch above the raw, uncovered poultry or meat. Press the button and maintain the nose of the sensor above the food for 30 seconds. All 3 lights will light, indicating that air sampling is complete. 3. Lift SensorfreshQ away from the food and press the button again. One light will remain lit and indicate the freshness: Green means the meat is fresh, and yellow means the meat is still ok, but eat it soon. A red light means the meat is spoiled.
