I love scooters, remember this post. An I am in the market for a new scooter. I am not really after a small 50cc which would be the easy option because I do not need a special license to ride one. So I am thinking of going for a bigger one like a 150 or 250cc. My dream scooter would be a Vespa GTS250ie but it is about $6000 over my budget and I could get a bike with the same features for about $4000. So I am thinking of settling on a Piaggio Fly 125. But then I came across the MP3 250. This is is also $6000 over budget but it looks so cool, and I am considering getting it. What do you guys think of it? It is described as:
Outrageously grippy from the two wheel front end, with a fuel injected 250cc engine and self centering feature when at a stop. Based on the successful X8 styled scooter, the new Mp3 is a true standout for its innovative design, unparalleled stability and road holding capabilities
It is not released for another month here in Australia, and am very impatient, so I may just go for my original plan, but I guess I still gotta get a license so who knows. Posted by . r o s s .

Whenever I see a scooter, (every single time!), the Eddie Izzard quote from his Dress to Kill special comes to mind, “Italy invented fascism. Mussolini in 1922 said “Right, we’re all fascists”, but most Italian people are always on scooters, going, “Ciao!”"
I guess it’s not funny taken out of context like that, but if you haven’t watched the video of that performance you should
Anyway, that “scooter” looks pretty cool. They make it look like a motorcycle in that ad.
