Pen bow and arrow

This can be really painful, so please don’t aim at people, animals and your boss. All you need is a BIC pen and a rubber band.

try making an actual bow out of wood… now those have some serious firepower (6 in penetration through pizza box from 15 yards away with blunt practice tip arrow)

Technically this is not a bow, but a slingshot, since the potential elastic energy is not stored in the bow-arms (the pen) but in the string (the rubber band).

the strings of real bows do not strech, all the energy is stored in the arms.
