Hotels.com and Cheaptickets helped me to organise the trip.
For our one night stay in Macau I picked that super fancy "Holiday Inn" (the one in downtown) which is in walking distance (if you walk fast) to almost all major attraction and casinos of Macau. But the main reason though was the price and the fact that they had a free bus shuttle picking us of from the Hong Kong Ferry.
Here are some pics of things nearby the hotel.

The outside of our hotel.

The transportation of choice of the Macauen (spelling?) is the moped.

Macau Tower – looks a little bit like the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas.

The Wynn casino (again very similar to the on in Vegas)
The Star World Casino Hotel if I would have had the dough, I would have stayed there.

The old tower of the Lisboa Casino. So James Bond ala Fluff!

Entrance to the old Casino Lisboa. And Across the street … the all new Grand Lisboa Casino Hotel!

The dudes opening the doors there look like this:

CUTE!
Here a close up of the casino:

This casino ist just crazy, it’s huge! You can point it out in every corner in Macau.
