geek poppers

Ooh .. I remember these from the early 90ies.

Sometimes the most enjoyable toys are the most basic ones. ZeeBeez are just about as basic a toy as you could find. They look like simple overturned rubber bowls, but they have a secret. And that secret is potential energy. All you have to do is "arm" them with potential energy and they will surprise everyone you show them to - much like a time bomb, but without the long lasting consequences.

You see, all you do is bend them inside out and drop them on a flat surface. You have instilled them with potential energy. When they hit, the force of the impact snaps them back into their original shape. Sounds boring, but look at the video. When the ZeeBeez returns to its natural form, it does so with a loud "pop" and launches into the air. They are a great way to liven up a tedious board meeting, a stale coding session, or just to scare your gamer friend and prevent a new high score. And if you are ever in a pinch for a costume, just glue a bunch of ZeeBeez to you, find a plunger, and you can be a Dalek. Fun and functional, all in one simple toy.
