In 2002, more than 23,000 skiers and snowboarders suffered head injuries on the slopes so it makes sense to wear a helmet to cut down on the chances of a serious injury. My boys ski and snowboard, and the rule is you wear a helmet on the slopes or you don’t go down the slopes. Of course they think this is totally uncool, so to lighten this burden I will be purchasing these Bluetooth Ski and Snowboard Helmets for Christmas. Uncool will become very cool!

This helmet has an integrated Bluetooth Headset so there is no fussing with headphone wires. The Helmetshell is injection molded ABS with an EPS liner and 12 vents. Consumer reports has rated the Giro helmets as the top brand for head protection.

So whoever says wearing a helmet is no fun doesn’t know about these noggin protectors.

You also might want a pair of Goggles to be totally tricked out on the slopes.

What a great idea. I’ve got 3 teens who snowboard and I’m forever yelling at them to wear their helmets. This could be my answer as well!

I just turned my Giro helmet into a Bluetooth helmet. I took apart a Blueant X5 stereo headset and installed the earpieces in my earflaps. It takes a little skill but it can be done for a fraction of the price by installing a regular Bluetooth stereo headset in your existing helmet. Give it a tray, mine rocks!
