spinning-candle-holder

Playing with candles in a different way. In Germany they say that you have an fulfilled sex life if you play with hot candle wax.

Dramatic in scale, the Spin Candelabra (2006) is effectively an inverted mobile. The arms spin 360 degrees to form a variety of configurations. The Spin borrows its aesthetic from the robust components of Victorian-era bridges and engines. As a designer, Tom Dixon is fascinated by the intersection of industrial technology and handcraftsmanship – a duality that’s expertly manifested in his large-scale candelabra. The material is solid cast iron and the arms hold a variety of different-sized candles (not included), from tea lights to tall tapers. The Spin Candelabra was honored with the 2006 Elle Décor UK Accessory of the Year Award.
