Hi there,
I have the same problem, and usually when I try to zoom the pic with that problem on the camera I receive the message "This function is not supported for this file". Now I think it could be the Memory Card I'm using because it's pretty old and slow... I have to buy a new one and try again.

Hello Sam,

thank you for your comments .. I will try updating the driver for the built in card reader first. Let's just cross fingers.

Facto, except for this problem I am extremly happy with Vista. No different level sucking here ;)

Your solution might be: roll back to Windows XP!!!

...Vista sucks at so many different levels...

lost half a sentence there... If the images are good on your screen, then it's not a camera or a card problem.

Well, if the images are good on your screen.

Hmm. Then try a USB cable? ;)

I've got a SD reader built into my laptop too. And it's useless with vista. So I've got a separate card reader that plugs into a USB port, which works great.

Last resort - take your SD card to a photo shop and have all your pics put onto a CD.

Hallo Sam,

I usually import images by popping in my SD Card directly into the laptop and I actually did update the firmware but I guess I should try to update the driver of the reader.

The images do look good on the lcd ....

Wish me luck ;) RGS can't be without pictures from Valencia.

Thank you Sam ... if there is something I should try please let me know.

Try taking the memory card out and using a separate reader to open your images, rather than connecting your camera with a usb cable. I find that to be a lot friendlier in vista.

Also, you have have updated the driver. But you can also update the firmware on the camera.

Do the pictures look ok on the camera's lcd? Just want to eliminate the camera as the problem source.

Good luck.
