This is Valencia - First Day

Here a video to give you a taste of Valencia. We are winding down from our first day of apartment hunting in Valencia with a bottle a wine we snuck up in our hotel room. Today we looked at 6 places. 3 skank holes, 2 ok places and 1 place which was kind of awesome but not really cut for us. That awesome place was it’s very own house which was very narrow and had every room on it’s own floor with a sweet rooftop. We wanted it, even though we can not fit 2 offices in it. In order to find out if we can get that place we have to wait until Wednesday.

So far things are going very well and there are still tons of places for us to look at. We are especially excited for a place we can view on Monday, it’s huge and it’s in a nice area.

People have been extremely nice to us, very friendly and willing to help us out.

I am also really surprised how much I like Valencia - it’s even better than I imagined it. I just wish I could fast forward one month - us living in an awesome place with super fast broadband.

Too bad I am still having problems with my built in card reader because I would love to post couple of pictures I took today but I try to find a solution asap.
