I must admit that I kind of ignored Nintendo DS because I though it was just for little kids. But I do love it now, I am especially addicted to the brain training games. Wouldn’t mind owning one but I am convinced that there will be a new generation of DS’s on the way. The concept you see above is a start. Once out I’d buy it right away.

somewhere along the way this story got diluted.
I heard that this is just a mockup, not the next generation.
nintendo might be trying to generate buzz, or maybe something leaked, but last time I checked (which was last week) this wasn’t coming.

Sir Jorge,
yeah … it’s just a concept but I would be really happy if Nintedo’s new DS would look like it.

If there isn’t a new DS coming (maybe not this cool, but new none the less), why isn’t Nintendo working harder to restock after Xmas? Large US retailers have been out for over a month now. If they’re not afraid of over inventorying a unit that’s about to be obsolete, why aren’t they building them as fast as they can?

Curious,
I think they are surprised by the success of their product and thought they would never succeed these numbers.

You’re very very wrong. Nintendo knew they would be this successful.

Why would they sell out then and possible piss off future costumers or even drive them to buy an other product instead?
