This following incident happened in that strange miniature amusement park "Windows of the World" in Shenzhen. If you feel looking at them feel free to do so here:

Since we wanted to be good old tourists and really stand out as one (which is really easy in China) Mike decided he wanted to have a picture taken in a full not so traditional china outfit ( for 0.10 cents or so) in front of the fake Sphinx and Egypt landscape. I was pretty sceptical but it did looks pretty cool:

Sweet! But then all of a sudden - CHEERS from the background - nervous giggles and all of a sudden Mike was surrounded:

Not sure what was going - Mike got off the camel and was surrounded by a bunch of other visitors who wanted to get their picture taken. They probably thought he was part of the attraction or something. Or they wanted a new addition to their "Me and My Western" picture collection. On more thing I noticed afterwards in this picture - what does that finger gesture (know from the movie KES) on the right side mean? The Irish and British do it - anyone has an idea?

A huge line was building behind me - we had to stop that insanity, especially because of her:

I saw tears building up behind her glasses.
