Blogging and cooking doesn’t go very well together. I don’t know how many times I burned my food because I went over to my laptop and got caught up and totally forgot cooking.
So since we moved into our new place and the kitchen is pretty small (the stove only has 2 cooking fields) I decided to get one of those food steamers which turned out to be awesome. I just cooked rice, broccoli and chicken at the same time. You got a timer which reminds you when to add more layers and it beeps when it’s all done. And in case you are not ready yet it also can just keep your food warm and you get fresh healthy food waiting for you once your latest blog entry is up.
I just have to adjust the steaming time for the broccoli next time. Was a little over cooked.

Forget about your steamer.
It’s called a crock pot and it has saved and improved my cooking life. You can literally cook it for 9 hours and you’ll never burn anything! The food just gets juicier and juicier. And, miraculously, the more sensible stuff you add to the pot, the more yummy it gets. Like America under Obama will be.

Vuergen loves the crock pot - it tasted juiciness Springfield and Vuergen wants more. But what about the random green stuff - they need to be krustic or no vitamins!
Crock Pot is ordered from Amazon because Fudgie B told it so. If there will be drama with Quimbo I will refer to the big B.
