This is reverse psychology! This dog is not being herded – he is herding by letting the sheep think the sheep is herding! The dog is leading the sheep to its place, rather than pushing it.

hah hah hah hah…..well that is Funny! But i know this dog, AND this sheep. I’d have to say, intelligence-wise, that it’s a toss-up.

Rock is a big sweetie, and protects and adores Punkin. Punkin was a premature lamb, weighing in at under two pounds when he was born. We raised him in the house with the dogs. Rock became his protector and slave almost immediately. Whereever you saw Punkin, you’d find Rock, attentively observing. They’ve developed a way to play and enjoy eachother, and chase around daily. Punkin still sleeps in the house at night *in a crate as you just cannot potty-train a sheep*. Just for the record, Punkin won’t ever be butchered. He gets to live his life as the good pet that he is. We’ll maybe get some more footage of them one day.
