Again, late! Sorry – but we got our first set of visitors (my mom + new BF) and we tried to be good hosts – so that kept us very busy. But the most exciting thing of last week was that I finally ordered a Digital SLR Camera and received it on Friday! Yeah!
This month I am going for a photo job to Barcelona and I convinced the company who hired me to contribute some money towards a digital camera instead of paying for film and development. They said yes and on top of that I found an awesome deal.
So I decided to go with the Sigma SD-14:
So sweet!
The camera does make me nervous – just the thought of a totally new way of taking and developing pictures. A new format – I am not the biggest fan of 35mm but I can always crop!
My first motive of course – our doggy Chucky:
Aww – they are not totally sharp but I had the AF set just to measure towards the bottom of the image. Oh well, learned something new.
A while back I asked readers if they want to sponsor RGS with a Digital Camera – as you can see I changed my mind on what camera to get. Anyway, I managed to receive 3 donations, thank you again guys:
Not sure what to do now because I paid the biggest chunk of it myself – humpf! Any suggestions? I can always transfer your money back.
