Got to watch some German TV the other day and got to see this story about a water-slide with a looping in it. Those looping water-slides will be popping in a lot of water parks world wide.

Especially cruel I think is the trapdoor.

It’s worth to watch the whole video if you like wet, hormone filled German ladies ;)

[...] You may have noticed we love fun parks, we also think water slides are pretty cool too but when it comes to water slides we never imagined there would be much in the way of new styles of slides. Most slides work on the process of lay down in a tube and let gravity do its thing to get you to the bottom. The slide in the German video above differs in the fact you start off on the slide standing up, once the trap door below your feet pops open you are then propelled around a loop that seems to defy gravity. It all looks pretty cool, we would like to know where this one is so if you are familiar with it (or understand German) hit up our comment section below.Story Via http://www.random-good-stuff.com/2008/06/04/water-slide-with-looping/ [...]

Too bad this will never work in the US. Americans are too fat and would get stuck in the tube

    Thank you for the note.

As you can see, it’s far from vertical.
Galilieo isn’t known for high quality television, more kind of advertising :-)

[...] Crazy German Water Slide A Crazy ass Water Slide drops you straight down through a trap door then flings you through a loop! German water slide is the definition of terror. Rather than starting out sitting down and sliding into the steep part, you start standing up on a trap door that they pull out from underneath you. It drops you straight down, you know, so you can gather enough speed for the complete loop that it throws you through. I don’t understand German, so I’m not sure exactly what they’re saying in this, but I assume it has something to do with the dangerous amount of chlorine in the water to help balance out the pee that every single rider leaves behind.
