I really don’t see the point of a portable washing machine. It’s not like while catching a plane … "Oh, I feel like washing my undies"!
Haier Portable Clothes Washer Haier’s compact, top-loading clothes washer is perfect for small spaces. It offers full-size features, including three wash cycles and three water levels, so you have the right amount of water for a perfect load every time. Plus end-of-cycle indicator light, removable lint filter, adjustable leveling legs, and side-strap for easy mobility. Holds up to 6.6 pounds of laundry. Includes quick connect sink adapter and hose.

Three words: New York apartment. I’d have *killed* for this back in the day. Bonus points for being small / nondescript enough to lurk effectively in the closet when the landlord comes around to see what’s up with the water consumption rates in your place.

I would love this! The thought that you can tuck your washing machine away when you don’t use them so you get more space…it is so attractive. And you don’t have to have a special ‘laundry’ area for it, just set it up anywhere when you need.
I think it’s also useful for travelling. Using hotel laundry costs extra and even if you are at the backpackers you still have to dig out coins for laundry. But uh, I don’t know how one can lug that around when travelling. So ignore me, I’m not making sense.
