rock driller

Bad economy – well this X-Mas DIY is on top of the list but at first you need to invest into a Rock Driller and Stone Tumbler before you can hand out DIY jewelry. It’s maybe worth it if you hand out tons of ’em!

After polishing your stone in a rock tumbler, this Rock Driller takes it to the next level. Use the easy-to-operate drill to drill small holes into any substance with rock-like hardness. You can create jewelry, toys, home decor projects, and much more. This fun device offers limitless possibilities. It includes a drilling machine and a drill bit, 4 oz. of polished rocks, and an adapter. Additional jewelry making materials are also supplied – silver necklace chain, leather-like cord, three key chains, three pairs of earring wires, 12 jump ring connectors, and glue.

Cool idea but poor quality. Instructions claim one rock can take up to 15 minutes… got up to almost 1/2 hour and made it half way through. Not sure even a child would put up with it that long. Very thin shells work ok. All in all, very disappointed. No DIY jewelry this year!

One of the worst made products I have ever purchased. Absolute junk. Don’t waste your money. the 9V motor is much too weak for drilling rocks and even if it wasn’t the “safety” switches that prevent you from operating it without water or with the door open malfunction constantly and actually prevent you from drilling at all. The structure is so flimsy that the drill bit doesn’t line up with the guide hole and you have to flex the stand and twist it so it will.
