I'd look to get a used one then convert it for dog use. It shouldn't be too difficult. My ACD will play for 4 hours, non-stop running and jumping without getting tired. It is said that treadmill training can not only help burn off some of that energy but will also add years to your dog's life. Too many dogs are dying of heart failure these days and it has everything to do with sedintary lifestyle, just like people. Any hearding dog would likely benefit greatly from the extra workout. I walk my dog 2 hours a day and that still isn't enough for him. It is me who cannot keep up, not him. Jim,
