teabaggger

Made my very first contact with teabaggers. Yeah! And that on the very first day in the US. I secretly hoping to see some but so soon…. nice! I was on my way to the CNN HQ and there they were holding up their signs.

But guys, come on .. Fox news? There is nothing news about it.

More teabaggers:

CNN HQ was fun and worth the $13 … next time I will do that VIP tour where you actually get to go inside the studio and newsroom. I was wondering if any CNN news editor has ever been on RGS.

Ugh sometimes being in the south is annoying for this reason. We had the “homo sex is sin” guys on campus all week and that was really frustrating. But I can see where I live in the last picture! :D

  2. RGS wrote,

Too bad I missed the homo sex sin … shoot :)

Do you like in that huge tower? If so … COOL!

  3. Ali wrote,

Right next to it actually – GT campus is between that and the one to the left of it (a Coca-Cola building). If I ever get lost in the city, you just look for it (its the tallest building in Atlanta), its like a beacon home. My friends and I all call it “The Pencil Building” – look at it at night and you’ll see why :)

Ali, since when is it so cold. FREEZING HERE :)

We are going to some Thai place tonight and tomorrow very early is my job. And then I’m free to explore more of Atlanta.

    I’ve stumbled into a bad place here haven’t I.

    Yeccchh!

“Teabagger” is an offensive term used by the media elites in order to marginalize the “tea party” movement. It would be best to stay away from the term.

If you want to poke fun at the protesters, by all means go ahead. But, many of them perceive legitimate grievances against the main-stream media. They can, and should, protest what they see as media bias, just as those on the left can, and should protest what they see as media bias.

It’s funny, because (next to Fox) CNN is these people’s best friend. Are they really protesting all the coverage they get?

  8. Ali wrote,

RGS, Was it Nan? I heard that place is pretty good.

And, yeah, you happened to come here for our first real cold front!

  9. RGS wrote,

That front desk guy send us to Rise even though we asked for Thai. The food was emm interesting and the Japanese people I was with were loling hard hat their menu. But was god fun.

It seems warmer today – will do some more exploring but that sandwich I had (see twitter feed: http://www.twitter.com/randomgoodstuff ) knocked me out.

    Yikes.

Like the Fox Theater and that crazy Marrioutt hotel.

Best burger in Atlanta is at The Vortex by the way.

Sorry about the sandwich :( Don’t go to The Varsity at least until you feel better. THAT place will make you sick if anything
