From the outside the Marquis Marriott Atlanta looks like any other high rise hotel except for the belly curved sites. Once you step in the only thing there is left to say is BWOAH! I thought the Marquis Marriott in Times Square NYC is breathtaking but the Marquis Marriott Atlanta is truly unique and I never have seen anything like this before. It feels organic and looks like a spaceship and the Noak’s Ark at the same time.

They host a BIG Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention in here (and 3 other hotels) every year (www.dragoncon.org). Every time I go I spend the entire day looking up. Love that hotel!

I went to a jazz educator’s convention there about 14 years ago. It’s absolutely amazing. We went to one of the upper floors and looked down. I had to step back from the rail because I suddenly had this irrational feeling that I was going to drop the glass I had in my hand. I think my brain was on overload.
