I thinks is important to say that the violence acts are not so usual as it seems.
And, in my opinion, it’s not even the worst problem (I think the lack of governance creates all the problems that a favela has today)

Ow, the music you listen in the first video it’s not a “real” funk. It’s Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS), that makes a parody of the favela’s funk.

The 2nd and 3rd video show funk as it is, and if you wanna watch more videos of “baile funk”, search “Furacão 2000″ on Youtube. They are the main group that organizes the funk nights in Rio.

And if you come here to Brasil, I’ll be glad to take you there…

The olympic games in Rio will be also confusing. The runners for example. They will never know if the shot they’re hearing is coming from the referee or directly from the favela’s.

And when a winner will take his place at the podium, there’ll be a “flanelinha” guarding his place (blackmailing for money).

But hey! In Rio everything is party!! Yes! By the way, the organization comitee will swallow the public capital spending tremendous costs in regular and cheap infra-structure.
