Oh boy what a year. Readers, believe me … I’m so happy when this year is over. It had it good parts but 2010 is what I’m looking forward to. If you don’t mind here a little flashback.
The year 2009 started off with moving into a new place. We were so excited to leave our very first place in Valencia and move into a a little more comfortable place but then just one month after we moved in that crazy fired happened. And a huge theater disappeared right behind our house in addition having constructions right in front of our house during the whole summer and beginning of fall. Then we had trouble with our Lastminute Auction site which took 3 month to flatten out.
The constructions drove us out of that place we just moved in the beginning of 2009 and got lucky moving into an awesome much cheaper place in a super awesome neighborhood called Ruzafa and we are still happy. 3 moves within 1 1/2 years left us pretty much broke. So 2009 will be known to us as the money saving and not doing too much year. And it will end that way too. We decided to stay in tomorrow and cook us an all you can eat Chinese Buffet.
As far as my photography 2009 wasn’t too bad at all. I got to go to Helsinki, Madrid and Atlanta and I got hired to photograph couple of streets in Valencia.
I loved that my brother came to visit me in Valencia to experience Las Fallas, seeing that US Rodeo in Valencia was awesome too. And getting press passes for the first ATP Open in Valencia was very special as well.
What I would like in 2010 to happen – is to travel more. We need to explore Spain! We lived here now for 2 years and barely seen anything. I got Mike for Christmas a book called 1000 places you need to visit in Spain before you die ( like these ones) which is only available in Spanish. Spain is full with awesome places. We are thinking of just effen doing it and starting a blog about it. Any sponsor wants to help out?
Some other highlights of 2009 was visiting family in the US and stopping by in Pittsburg, Keeneland and wicked casino in Indiana.
