GRUM- Old School Style With New Attitude

Filed in Music / Movies / Videos 2 comments

The best artists in the world start from the ground up. You see a tiny review, you hear about them from your friends, then you see something in the street. A flyer, sticker, poster, or something.

For Grum, the UK’s upcoming  dance producer, 2010 seems to be the year of a possible break-out. Recently featured on NME.com, Grum is slowly gaining popularity after wowing club crowds in New York City and London during DJ apperances. He cites his music as being “untamed, up tempo with an 80′s Euro-edge.” In addition, he is the first  artist to  revolutionize the way the public interacts with music, by incorporating barcodes in artwork used in his marketing campaign. The artwork is a pioneering design,  that when photographed by your mobile phone (i-phone app) takes you directly to the music where you can hear great quality streamed versions of the track, with an option to buy there and then.

Either way it goes check him out! For more info check out his website at: http://www.heart-beats.co.uk
