Doubling as a sunshade, the flip-up solar collection panel extends battery life 12 minutes for every hour it’s exposed to sunlight, allowing recording to continue without proximity to electric power. The camcorder’s 12 MP image sensor with 8X digital zoom captures HD video in 720 x 480 pixel resolution at 30 fps, storing content as AVI files on an SD/SDHC memory card up to 32 GB (not included).
