This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FRESCHETTA® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Somehow it made it’s round that I’m addicted to pizza and my addiction even has grown within the 3 month of our time in Buenos Aires, the city of deep dish pizza. So Freschetta somehow got word and got in touch with Random Good Stuff aka me.

You know Freschetta, the thin-crust pizza which come in a Fresch-Taste Seal (which keeps the flavors sealed and reduces packaging by 30%) and in 8 distinctive flavors. The pizza to satisfy your daily pizza graving! And since I’m not the only one who is obsessed with pizza, Freshetta assumed RGS readers are too and are giving away two of the following bamboo cutting boards:

Super neat, he?

It’s easy to take part:

  1. Write a comment about your pizza a addiction and why YOU deserve one of the cutting boards
  2. Subscribe to the Random Good Stuff newsletter: here (you can always cancel your subscription and make sure you activate your email)

Done!

I will be choosing two lucky readers and announce them on May 23th 2011.

And in the mean time check out the Freschetta Pizza Haven: FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ and also take a peak at their Facebook Fan Page. You should especially eye the Facebook page since they will soon offer a downloadable $2 off coupon for their pizzas.

I just had leftover pizza today for lunch since we made pizza last night for dinner (dough and all)!
I don’t even have pizza cutting/serving boards. I have to use our giant cutting board, which makes a giant mess of it and is a nuisance to clean so this would be awesome to win!!

When was little, my dad couldn’t afford to buy pizza. My friends at school talked about pizza all the time (you know, before the Internet was around). I would come home and beg for pizza, but my parents would always say “I’m sorry honey, but we can’t afford it this month either”. I would answer “Oh, ok, I don’t care” and I would give them the biggest smile I could possibly forge in that moment. I would then run to my room and cry until I fell asleep.
One day, on my way to school (I was like 5 or 6 years old), I found out a new pizza place opened nearby. I jumped the fence to the backyard and peeked through the door that lead to the kitchen. There was a big fat man, dresses in white, with a big moustache. He was a pizza maker! I tried to follow the whole process of pizza making. There was lots of white powder, water, salt, and then many different toppings like meat, sausages and cheese. Then he would put it in the oven for a while. It was getting late, so I jumped back to the street and went searching for white powder. I found a friend of mine outside. After hearing my story he said that a friend of his dad’s usually sold white powder in small packets. It’s was getting late, but I found the guy. He had a moustache too, very similar to the Pizza Maker’s. This was sure to work.
I told him I needed white powder. He said something like “Hi little guy. You’re into this at such young age, huh? I tell you what, I’ll give you this first packet for free, enjoy it”. I remember I started to cry. My dreams would come true that day! I ran back home, mixed it with salt water placed some dried meat and cheese on top of it and it was finnished. It was very small, because there was not a lot of white powder. It was crusty after less than one our in the oven. It tasted terrific. I can’t describe the sensation.. my body was all raced and hot, this was WAY better than people told me.
Eventually, I started eating it more times. I eat pizza about twice a month these days, but never did it taste as good as the first one, or did I felt the same way after eating it.

I think I deserve these cutting boards.

PS: Unfortunately, this is a fictional tale I made up right now.

What a fun way to do a giveaway! My reason is:

I am 22 and am recently engaged. My fiance and I are shopping for our first house and can use anything small to get us started on a “hope chest”. A cutting board is something small…but it would be used a lot (both from italian families).

thanks for the fun giveaway!
