    poo telling book

Saves money on your medical bill.

With universal appeal (everyone poops, after all), this witty, illustrated description of over two dozen dookies (each with a medical explanation written by a doctor) details what one can learn about health and well-being by studying what’s in the bowl. A floater? It’s probably due to a buildup of gas. Now think back on last night’s dinner, a burrito perhaps? . . .All the greatest hits are here: The Log Jam, The Glass Shard, The Deja Poo, The Hanging Chad . . . the list goes on. Sidebars, trivia, over 60 euphemisms for number 2, and unusual case histories all make this the ultimate bathroom reader. Who knew you could learn so much from your poo?

    how to toon

    Perfect X-Mas Gift for small/big geeks/nerds.

Part comic strip and part science experiment, Howtoons shows children how to find imaginative new uses for common household items like soda bottles, duct tape, mop buckets, and more–to teach kids the "Tools of Mass Construction"!

Howtoons are cartoons that teach 8– to 15–year–old readers "how to" build, create, and explore things. Combining a fun, full–color cartoon format and real life science and engineering principles, Howtoons are designed to encourage kids to become active participants in the world around them.

Readers meet Tucker and Celine, a lovable brother and sister pair. Sick of watching TV and playing video games, Tucker and Celine decide to conquer every kid’s nightmare: the dreaded summer o’ boredom. Armed with countless ideas for fun projects, they set out to reclaim the sheer joy of playing. Fifteen practical, build–it–yourself projects are weaved into the Tucker and Celine storyline. With the narrators’ help and clear step–by–step instructions, young readers will learn how to set up a workshop, create a marshmallow shooting gun, make ice cream without a freezer, play songs on a turkey baster flute, explore a homemade terrarium, launch a pressure–powered rocket, and more!

Utilizing inexpensive, kid–friendly materials, Howtoons will prove that the world at large is infinitely more exciting than anything happening on the TV or computer screen. Plus, each project will provide readers with practical skills and problem solving know–how that they can use in their everyday lives. These funny, interactive Howtoons are sure to inspire independence and creative savvy in young people everywhere.

    book without an E

Not sure if this makes a great author, but he gets credits for the concept.

THE ENTIRE MANUSCRIPT of this story was written with the E type-bar of the typewriter tied down; thus making it impossible for that letter to be printed. This was done so that none of that vowel might slip in, accidentally; and many did try to do so!

In writing such a story, -purposely avoiding all words containing the vowel E, there are a great many difficulties. The greatest of these is met in the past tense of verbs, almost all of which end with “-ed.” Therefore substitutes must be found; and they are very few.

    wii-fitness

    wii-fitness-game

You all probably heard of or played Wii Sports which comes with the Wii Sport Bundle. Ever since I played it, I was hoping they will bring out a whole fitness game. Well here it is "Wii Fitness".

The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board (name not final), which comes packed with Wii Fitness. The board is used for an extensive array of fun and dynamic activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and games. Many of these activities provide a "core" workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions. Family members will have fun staying active and talking about and comparing their results and progress on a new channel on the Wii Menu.

    porno-gami

For those lonely fall nights in candlelight with bottle for red wine.

Master Sugoi’s origami normally features classical figures, animals, creatures, and design, but Pornogami shows a new side of his talent. A piece of pornogami folded in the right setting, he discovered, can produce smiles and laughter in a way that no butterfly or bird ever could. Shapes include a variety of erotic body parts, including the amazing 3-D penis. Those who have mastered the technique can produce their own adult objets d’art, but the book’s simple, step-by-step instructions help even the creatively challenged to transform a drab piece of paper into a saucy surprise.

    book of phobias

Do you remember the RGS List of weird Phobias? Well this book covers some of it.

Fear of heights, fear of spiders, fear of flying, fear of death–everyone is afraid of something. And these pop-ups place you in the hot seat–whether it’s the dentist’s chair as the drill comes spinning toward you; looking over the edge of a skyscraper whose sheer face plummets thousands of feet to the sidewalk far below; or the window seat of a plane as the oxygen mask deploys, your drink spills, and the horizon line shifts to an angle that is suddenly, terribly wrong . . . Brought to life by outrageously macabre artwork and startlingly innovative pop-ups, The Pop-up Book of Phobias is an engineering marvel and cult classic in the making–an offbeat holiday treasure sure to become this season’s most talked-about gift book.
