Why watch Spider-man when you can be Spider-man?

Stern Pinball recently released the latest and greatest, SPIDER-MAN. So far holding the title as the best machine Stern Pinball has made. A classic layout that was designed by Steve Ritchie, Lyman Sheats, and the engineering staff at Stern Pinball.

Personally I love the layout, there are very few death shots in this game and the table can be manipulated quite a bit with a little nudge here and there. After taking a poll of pinball gangs in the area it’s almost all of the Crazy Flipper Fingers agrees that this is Stern’s best game yet.

If you are fortunate to be in a town that caters to ballers, you should give this game a little time at your local pub. If there are no machines around why not buy a table for around $4,500.

I love these guys comics, and since this is my first post for RGS I think I definitely can’t go wrong by posting one of their strips. The comic is about one of the issues that haunts almost every married man.

I knew about those young kids hanging out at Akihabara but I had not idea that they are called Cosplayers well now I now and if you want to find out more about this strange lifestyle/trend read on at wikipedia: Cosplay

Cosplay is a term that originated in Japan but is based on the English words “Costume Play,” essentially play-acting in costumes. In Japan, CosPlay is not limited to anime/manga, but also a staple of many other entertainment industries such as science fiction and horror. In North America, the term CosPlay is reserved for anime/manga related costuming. Source

So now have you ever wondered how those kids get those costumes? Well … it is pretty easy .. you just order them ;)

Moon Costumes has tons of Cosplay Costumes. It’s just too bad that I don’t have the body of a young Japanese Girl …oh well. But just thinking about squeezing myself (6’6 tall beefy German Guy) into for example the above costume would be hilarious.

Here are some examples of the cosplay costumes:

Well, if you really would like to stand out you can even request a custom made costume form Moon Costumes. Prices start at $200 if you would like more information on a custom made one please visit: How to custom Order

But in general costumes are above $50

Below you will just find small example of costumes ordered my theme:

Eek … there are at least 1.000 things popping up in my head on how to use it.

If you’re the type that likes to call attention to yourself, and happen to need to lower the apparent room temperature at the same time, we can think of no better way than with this LED fan. With 42 LEDs mounted on the blades, the LED Art Fan spins and flickers at a brazillian* RPM to create beautiful persistence of vision images. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so make sure you behold the video below.

Unbelievable bright images 5 megs of memory holds up to 128 individual frames. You can animate, spin, slide, flash and dissolve to your heart’s delight. All the while, enjoying the cool breeze from a chromed-up art-deco desktop fan.

Show off your m4d 4rT 5k1Llz using the included software. Import animated GIF files, or draw your own frames. If you’ve got a logo you want to display, have at it!

The LED Art fan works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and requires a serial port. Make sure you read the manual. As highly programmable as this fan is, you don’t want to miss a step and end up with something less than cool.
