It wasn’t easy but we finally managed to update our existing forum to be a hangout a fun environment for movie and DVD freaks. Instead of our self coded forum software we used the free forum software phpBB3 - which is awesome but was a pain to integrate it seemlessly on our site. Now it’s all done and I must say we are pretty proud of it

Does that work with Mp3s as well?

The problem with me is that when something exciting happens I have that urge to let everyone know - I can see that being very annoying. Oh well, here I go.
1.First off our site Lastminute Auction got featured on Radio Energy which is a national radio station. You can listen to it here but be warned it is in German ![]()
2. Yesterday we published our very first Movie Google Gadget for our site Criticker, which you can use to either get recommendations on your igoogle or post the widget on your site to show off you movie taste.
More information on your Criticker movie blog.
3. MrDealio our Price Tracker site which got extremely popular right before xmas just launched a bargain - coupon - super duper deals blog.
Check it out and let us know when you find an irresistible deal.
4. This has nothing to do with me personal but:
Only today Amazon offers 67% for the James Bond DVD set (21 bond movies + 21 Bonus DVDs) for only $109.99. Only as long supplies last.
…if you know what I mean.

I can’t stand Flixster for obvious reasons. And I do have reasons besides also running a Movie Recommendation Site myself. I hate the fact how they are showing off the amount of users constantly. Yeah, it huge! But how do they get this huge? Well for once they make some new users think that parsing their Gmail is part of the sign up process and have everyone who is in your mailbox an flixster invite sent. And they are constantly in your face at Facebook. But I guess Facebook is the place to be in your face, on the other hand.
The real dislike started when friends of mine started sending me Facebook invites and take these Flixster Facebook Quiz invitations. I am pretty tense about getting Super Poked, Vampire Bites and quizes and all these Applications Spam invites on a daily basis. ANNOYING! One more Super Poke and I snap!
So yesterday I noticed that two of my friends were taking the "Who of these stars are faggots" Quiz from Flixster (They call it "Guess who’s gay quiz") Which I think is ridiculous. Wo the f cares? What does that have to do with movies? Yeah, I can see generating a viral interest (109894 quiz takers) can be very good for your website. But what’s next?
Yeah, these are question I would like to know myself … but COME ON!
… super giggle, poking screech, fantastico!
P.S. Sorry for the rant.
Are you on Facebook too? Feel free to add me as a friend with a short note that you are a RGS reader. And in return I might send you an Criticker Application invite. Oooops .. I am not a cent better than Flixster, lol!

A friend of ours did some artwork for Criticker which we used for some merchandise. I think it turned out pretty cool. Can you spot Mike and me?
More info on the artist and type of things we offer.
We are also looking for artists or graphic designer who would like to submit some stuff. If chosen we share our profits.
