    cat ear headphones

Go to your girlfriend. Tell her that she can’t laugh for the next 20 seconds or she will be your slave for the rest of the week. Put these on and ROCK OUT!

Cat-ears is a popular costume during Halloween. Now Thanko is introducing CatBud, a combination of the cat-ears with earphones. The super soft head band is covered with fur matching with the color of the cord. The pink ears bring out the cuteness of the whole design. Thanko’s CatBud corresponds with any hair style.

    bleep laps robots

Aww cute. Was trying to find a video of them in action but no luck.

The Thingamagoop is an awesome, little, light-controlled, analog synthesizer. Much like Raymond Scott’s Circle Machine (and if you don’t know who Raymond Scott is, shame on you), the Thingamagoop uses its LEDacle (an LED-tipped tentacle) to flash light (at different speeds) into its photocell. The photocell talks to the main oscillator and (with a little more technical stuff that we just won’t get into here), you get bilps and bleeps of pure electronic wonderment.

And hey, if you’re more the Maker, get a Thingamakit instead and build your own! You’ll be rewarded with the knowledge that you built it yourself, as well as an extra LEDacle, wave form, and photocell (for even more sound control, variation, etc.). What are you waiting for? You might be the next great composer of Droid Opera! But you’ll need a Thingamagoop or Thingamakit to know for sure.

    bomb-speakers

Kind of lame to say that these speakers are the bomb. Truth is .. they are.

Blast out your tunes with The Big Bang Speaker. We’ve seen loads of iPod and desktop speakers in our time but NONE of them have looked as cool as this. It looks like an Inspector Clouseau style bomb (you know the ones we mean) and when it comes to sound it packs a mighty punch. Its innovative design isn’t just for show, either: it’s been designed acoustically so that its two high quality speakers deliver clear and crisp sounds whether you’re hooked up to your MP3 player or laptop.

You can connect practically anything with a headphone socket to this little ball of explosive sound using the leads provided and it can be powered by USB or taken on the go with 4 AA batteries. It’s sure to make your party go off with a bang.
