Andrew Sullivan is a good guy and adresses various issues and listened to Mike who sent an email to him explaining our situation:

We moved to Berlin together when his visa expired, where we lived for 5 years and eventually got married (okay, "entered into a civil union" is more accurate, if not as eloquent). We work online, which affords us a lot of freedom, and have lived in Ireland and now Spain. Thanks to the "Freedom of Movement" policy, I can legally reside anywhere in the EU, because Juergen and I are married. But, I can’t move home.

And we live in Valencia now - let’s see if we ever will get sick of it. Right now we both agree it’s heaven on earth.

Dear readers, fellow bloggers and haters!

I finally managed to update the layout of Random Good Stuff. It’s about time, I know. The first steps are done but you can expect further changes within the next couple of days. Just thinking about how RGS looked 2 hours ago almost makes me puke. I feel ashamed now .

It was about time to apply a new theme - I shelled out some Pasta (as the Spanish would say it) and bought me a license of the pretty awesome:

Shifter Wordpress Theme .

It’s pretty sweet and I am using it on almost all of my blogs now.

In the next couple of days I am going the clean up the clutter on the sidebars, apply the theme to Games, Shop and Videos. come up with a better header and trying to make the site all together more user friendly.

RGS has a gigantic bounce rate. Something like 70 percent of first time visitors are not exploring the site but instead leave RGS right away again. I am really excited to see if the new changes will drop that rate.

If you have any suggestions or other ideas on how to make the site better - I am all ears.
