Ha ha! Light Bulbs are fun, especially if they are put together by the millions! WTF? You probably guessed it right, these insane street lights have something to do with Fallas. And just seeing these is worth a trip for Fallas in Valencia.

- 10 Weird Cigarette Lighters

OMG! Ever wondered how a 2 ton firework might look like? Don’t wonder any longer and watch this video I took yesterday of this rather unique firework called Mascletà which is part of Fallas here in Valencia. I shot this video my new Sanyo VPC CS1 (which I’m really happy with) but at the end it had problem to figure out the sounds. It was just too much.

Fallas official started yesterday and I’m already out of it! But before I post some of the highlights I got some good news to share. I managed to a sponsor for Fallas so I could buy the Canon 7d and the brand new  and very sexy Sanyo VPC – CS1 (should arrive tomorrow).

So this post is to  say sorry that there will not too many posts RGS in the next couple of days and to show off some videos I shot with the Canon 7d (there will be links leading you to a post where you can see pictures I took with the 7d)

The videos are still very jumpy due my old CF Card which is to slow but the new faster card is on the way. Also, since the Canon is pretty heavy and bulky I will be using the Sanyo for every day shots and the Canon when I use oh la la arty videos (from a tripod). I just can’t see myself carrying around a tripod all day long.

What do you think of the video quality of the Canon 7d ? As soon as the Sanyo arrives I will be posting an example video of the VPC – CS1.

On Sunday we went to a pretty neat exhibit at the IVAM in Valencia and thought this might interests couple of RGS readers. Blown out of proportion, all white and girls sticking their heads in all of kind of places sounds like art I like and you might too . 11 more days before Fallas in Valencia begins and we are getting pumped. We tried to get in touch with local companies trying to get them to sponsor us but without any luck but luckily we got our awesome Random Good Stuff readers

We are looking for a company to sponsor our Fallas 2010 posts. Today we went down the Harbor of Valencia to check out what’s going on the first day of 33. America’s Cup. Shockingly nothing much – considering how much money got pumped in and how much the city of Valencia agreed to transform to hold the 32. and now the 33. America’s Cup.

A shame!

- Greatest Festival in Spain

One of the highlight of visiting Granada was the Alhambra and it Nazrid Palace. It was incredible – I didn’t even know something like this would even exist in Europe. The whole architecture was straight from 1001 Arabian Nights. People actually lived there, including Irving Washington where he wrote Tales of the Alhambra.

I also liked running in the ghost of the Alhambra (last picture) but it seems like I wasn’t the only one since his shape was used in their tile art. Isn’t he cute.
