Our time in Sicily is coming to an end. Well almost, we have an other month here but with the holidays coming, etc …. it kind of feels like we are already gone. Well kind of, we still have tons to do and to explore. In case you are curious about what we experienced so far check out our travel blog: For 91 Days in Palermo . Mid January we are going to spend 2 weeks in the US visiting family and celebrating my birthday before we fly around half of the globe to Sri Lanka!!! Man – this is going to be something totally different compared any other place we visited before.

Howdy! We are back from our one week vacation no internet time in 5 years. I thought I could never survive a week without being online but I realized it was a well needed time just to relax and don’t do anything. We read books, grilled, drank, enjoyed the sun, took walks, slept in and went on boat rides. What a live and I feel human again.

The Paraná Delta is such an incredible, magical place and only one hour from Buenos Aires. Read the Wiki entry, it’s fascinating! I loved the fact that people live there all year around. Kids go to school by taking boats, no cars just water … all around.

If you ever end up in Buenos Aires and want to escape the metropolis for a week, I totally recommend to spend a week in the Delta. Feel free to leave comments or email me if you have any questions.

We are back in The City and enjoying our last weekend in Buenos Aires. Chucky (our dog) will be send to Germany to my mom (she won’t survive 6 more flights!) and we are taking off for our new For 91 Days in Bolivia on the same day.

A quick update on our French Bulldog Chucky – we soon have to say good-bye to her. While planning our next 3 month in Bolivia for our Travel Blog we realized that she would go on 6 flights until she is back in Europe if we would take her with us. She would not survive it. She is old now and has Arthritis (poor thing). So we are sending her directly from Buenos Aires to my mom in German. Psst – she doesn’t even know about it yet. Too sad that think about not being able to see her for 4 month.
