..designed by UBALD KLUG in 1973 - the DS-1025 is an iconic 1970s design and highly collectable!
Klug is Swiss and studied Interior Deisgn under Willy Guhl (1952-55) and Jean Prouve at Francois Stahly's Studio, Paris (1958-60). He was techincal director of Troesch & Co, Berne before establishing his own product/interior design office in Paris in1972. In 1998 he was awarded the iF Product Design Award, Hanover.

DS-1025 provides a unique and incredibly comfortable seating
experience. The two elements have been painstakingly constructed with
superb craftsmanship into striking terrace-like forms. Like terraced
hills, the elements vary in width and depth in tapering steps. You can sit, lay or lounge around on this however you please - this really is amazingly comfortable - the minute I sat on this, I wanted to keep it forever and can completely understand why these pieces sell for thousands of pounds!
Overall condition is absolutely fantastic - completely free from any rips, repairs, tears or excessive wear. The cigar brown leather is beautifully soft and supple with a lovely rich patina and has that perfect 'lived-in' look and feel.
