I just got back flying from London Stansted and I had it! The way how they treat passengers is really rubbing me the wrong way.
Yeah, there were terrorists planning an attack, but they got caught - But was it necessary to totally freak out?
Being alert is one thing, but taking more and more rights from passengers is an other thing!
Very soon, we all have to travel naked and can’t bring anything on the flights - hmmm I kind of like the idea of nakedness. Just imagine the scenery at the check in gate. Fantastic!
I have no idea how limiting the size of your carry on bag makes flying saver. This is just torture:

On the left site you can see the measurements at the check in in the terminal (with that new little extra grate) and on the right site same thing but right before boarding the aircraft. Please make up your mind!
If you are flying with Ryanair you have to pay extra for every checked suitcase - So most people have to check extra suitcases and guess who earns some more money? Ryanair! But I bet they don’t mind since the airline lost tons of money canceling over 400 flights in the last 2 weeks.
After standing in line just to check in we went over for the next line before the security zone - What a sight, pure chaos and drama!
Since they changed the carry-on size, people got sent back to check in
their suddenly "oversize" bags.
For example my camera bag is theoretically too big:

Are they kidding me? I was flying with that bag to London no problem! On the way back I need to check in this huge bag? Yeah sure! I don’t wanna see the camera when you are done transporting it. No, Thank you!
So you can imagine the drama right before getting in the security zone, screaming - fighting! This poor Italian kid dared to response to the very harsh and rude manners of a security guy - well discussion was over in a second because the security guy took his boarding pass from him.
We of course got sent back to check my bag and with very smart packing and risking some of my photo equipment we made it.
Back in line for security, 10 minutes for departure - this was fun.
In the middle of the line security line, I was looking around and said to myself "We are being treated like cattle!" I felt like waiting in the death row to get slaughtered!
The airport was a pure mess. Does this make you feel safer?

Common sight in the security zone! They don’t have time to clean up? How secure are they when nobody can see them? Do they even have time to handle situations with common sense or are they just following through what they absolutely have to do, after the new regulations?
Did I feel saver in this chaos? NO!
Why not just start Cattle Airline - sitting in a box, munching on some hay while traveling safely.
I am sick of that - treat my like a human! I am no cattle!

I recently flew a few times in Canada, nothing to bad really, they had a pretty good grip on it before. The “No drinks” rule sucks and is trully idiotic (e.g. they can’t even give you a lid for your coffee at Starbucks or Tim Horton’s), but other than that it was pretty okay.
Now I didn’t try to fly into the US, I am sure there the story would be different (there were signs up that announced that there would be at least one more security checkpoint before you were allowed into the US Terminal).
As for flying naked: Now I am not so sure I would want to see that, unless they have a minimum fitness requirement for anybody who wants to board a plane.
