This glass makes me just drunk just by looking at it. Since we moved to Spain we got big wine drinkers not just because a glass of wine a day does you good but also because Valencian wine is just too good and cheap ;) .

The device consists of a bulb shaped container with the glass below. When the amount in the glass decreases, a constant amount is poured from the tank into the glass. The wine will never overflow because of the balance between air pressure and water pressure.

Designed in Barcelona, Spain, this finely crafted home distiller illustrates the nuances of English that are often lost in translation. The still’s copper frame is engraved with Missisipi Destil Co.–an honest, if poorly translated, attempt to pay homage to the distilling heritage of the American south. Destined to elicit questions from guests and encourage conversation, the distiller is reminiscent of those used to make brandy or extract essential oils from plants for use in perfumes.

The alcohol burner, cucurbit, condensing pot, and collection cup are made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass–the same glass used in laboratory beakers. The distiller is mounted on a walnut base and its frame is made from five copper plates secured in place with copper rivets.

This Absinth without the green fairy was keeping me away from blogging. Well kind of – can’t stand the taste off it but it does look cool. I’m on my last day in Germany to celebrate a big birthday of a very good friend of mine. It’s my last hours now – my flight leaves super early tomorrow morning. So, I will be back almost for a full working day for some well needed blogging release.
