Today is the last day of Campus Party in Valencia. We went again yesterday and the experience was quite different then when we went on the first day of Campus Party.

After 6 days now over 6000 people showed and each person downloaded an average of 700GBs. This is a lot of wood!

I spend most of my day in front of the computer but those kids are a whole different class. How they were able to work 2 or 3 computers at the same time. Multiple monitors, chat windows, playing games and watching a movie at the same time … impressed and speechless I was.

After the 5th day you could still smell “excitement”, junk food everywhere and people sleeping sleeping here and there.

And I thought I was geeky. So Valencia in that week is host of the fastest internet connection in the world with something like 8,2 GB/s and the result of that are many, many connections to Asia … for some reason:
