Not coming cheap though …. you have to put down almost 5.000 Bucks!

There are small LEGO sets, there are large LEGO sets, there are even very large LEGO sets. And then there’s the LEGO Statue of Liberty. It features a daunting 2,882 pieces and a graphic guide book to show you how to construct the statue in just 80 steps. A lot of work? Sure it is. But with great work comes great rewards. The completed piece stands an impressive 2 feet, 9 inches tall and is an impressive tribute to one of the most recognizable monuments in the world. Of course, since this is LEGO, all pieces are compatible with all others, so once Lady Liberty is built you can let your imagination run wild and add her to whatever pirate or spaceman motif you already have going.

This is the plush teddy bear that spans 7 1/2′ when sprawled across a floor as a compliant sleeping area for a child. Swaddling a child in slumber-inducing comfort, it is made from velvety-soft, 100% polyester fur, shaped with 50 lbs. of lofty polyester fill to give it a welcoming, rotund appearance. Without the grumpy disposition, this bruin can be maneuvered into any position a child can concoct; while sitting up, its movable arms can be folded to ensconse a child in a protective pose, or while lying prone, serve as giant, soft pillows. Its molded plastic eyes, tan muzzle, and leather nose create a peaceful expression that invites lounging.

This beast is gigantic – look that blue monster. This bear is 40 foot high and put together from a whole bunch of triangles using an eighties (I think) 3D rendering software to form this sculpture. I still wonder why the artist chose a big blue bear but I think it’s because of the Book with the same name. Oh well, who knows ! It’s still neat and fun to look at. This is the last Denver post and in case your missed the previous ones you can check them out there:

The same monolithic vending machine found in arcades, amusement parks, and novelty shops, this is the 7′ tall gumball machine that holds over 14,000 gumballs. It uses the Beaver mechanism–the classic zinc machined coin mechanism used in gumball machines since the 1960s–triple chrome-plated and precisely machined to provide decades of iconic "click-clack" sound when dispensing. Requiring no coins for operation, the mechanism and dispenser are 49" high, allowing chewers of all ages to retrieve gumballs.

And I thought it was some kind of weapon at first.

This is the largest twist tangle that can be found outside of a museum. Inspired by the Tibetan infinite knot–a pattern of interwoven forms with no beginning and no end–the tangle consists of seventeen 5" L x 1 5/8" diam. torus segments connected end-to-end in a continuous loop. A simple twist of one segment cascades throughout the sculpture, forming new, unexpected shapes.

Described as a "self-enabling creative device" by its creator, Zen sculptor Richard X. Zawitz, manipulating the tangle purportedly creates a sense of relaxation, similar to crocheting or whittling.
